Owner : Capt. Chad Pavlu, owner of PavLures and Fishhead Guide Services, LLC, started this lure making endeavor with the goal to produce high quality, affordable baits for all. This allows him to explore his creativity bringing new ideas for color combinations, enhancing the quality and creating new baits for every angling style. He also promises that all of the PavLure baits will never be outsourced remaining handmade right here in Rockport, Texas.

Pro Staff : Capt. Travis Sparks, owner of Fish TALES Charters, has been inshore fishing in eastern North Carolina for the past 20 years. His primary waters are the lower Pamlico and Neuse Rivers along with the Pamlico Sound. North Carolina has a variety of waters to offer from deep back water creeks to shallow grass floats where he spends his time seeking out trout, reds, flounder and striper. He started his guide business 2 years ago, and loves putting people on fish. From teaching novice fishermen the basics to helping add tactics to experienced fishermen, he enjoys it all. Travis has been a super influential angler in helping promote the Pav brand in North Carolina and beyond. We're super excited to welcome him to the PavLure pro staff team!

Pro Staff : Captain Cory Russell was introduced to the outdoors while still in diapers, hunting and fishing with his dad from three years old on. His father was a firefighter and ran an archery shop, he grew up surrounded by the hunting and fishing community. That early exposure quickly became a way of life. From chasing ducks to casting for trout, his childhood was filled with outdoor adventures that helped shape the captain he is today. By the age of 16, Cory had already purchased his own boat and started guiding bowfishing and duck hunting trips. That passion only grew stronger with time. He dedicated himself to learning every corner of the water, experimenting with gear, refining his techniques, and pushing through every setback to become the seasoned guide he is now. Through hard work, perseverance, and a love for the sport, Cory turned his dream into reality by founding Russell & Sons Outdoors—a company that now helps others achieve their own fishing goals.He now guides full time and fishes multiple tournaments on the Texas coast.  His love and passion is his family and chasing trophy trout on the Texas flats.

Brand Ambassador : Steven Herrera is a dedicated Texas saltwater avid angler who is passionate about sharing his experiences with the fishing community. He creates content on YouTube to showcase those experiences and aims to inspire others to get out on the water. His dedication to PavLures is unmatched and he's here to support all fishermen. We are humbled to have Steven as one of our brand ambassadors and continue to provide the fishing community with knowledge and experience. Brand Ambassador : Trace Odom is a passionate South Texas saltwater angler who loves fishing the Port O'Connor and Seadrift areas and has been targeting redfish and trout for the past 5 years. He has been dedicated to the PavLures brand since the beginning spending hours on the water throwing Pav's. His go-to lures are Money Tree Big Softy and Chart Flash Lil' Softy. Brand Ambassador : Kyle Leckie is a Virginia native who fishes the Chesapeake Bay and its surrounding rivers. With trophy trout being his main target, Kyle also is an avid redfish and striper angler. The chase of the next trophy trout is what motivates him and keeps his drive dialed in. Attention to lure detail and quality is what brought Kyle to the Pav's family.

Known for his commitment to ethical fishing, community engagement, and pushing the limits in pursuit of the perfect catch, Cade proudly represents the PavLures brand both on and off the water.

Brand Ambassador : Ruben Aguirre grew up about 25 miles north of Galveston and then moved north of Houston when he was 15. He grew up fishing freshwater ponds until his dad took him to a pier one day at Sylvan Beach and where he fell in love with saltwater fishing. He caught his first trout and was instantly hooked. Later he found every reason for his parents to take him to the bay or some body of saltwater fishing for a many of years until he was old enough to go on his own. In 2007, when he was 17, he really cracked into a new style of fishing and that was with artificial lures. He learned a lot from a guide named Jack Montgomery. He really connects with God's gift and creation He has given us to enjoy. As he spent more time on the coast he grew into an admiration for conservation and practicing ethical aspects of fishing. Whether it was catch and release, explaing to others the importance of the slogan he lives by just keep 5 (now 3) or just go catch to catch, many of times he'd smash his barb to prevent any more stress to the fish. As he studied more on conservation and seeing all the components that go into keeping a healthy fish population, it inspires him to let others know, gives him a reason to advocate for the conservation side..it's a beautiful thing to see. He's always said if we can take care of our fish and what's at our hands our grandkids will be able to catch a 30" trout one day. And now into his middle age days, he continues to practice what he preaches on the conservation side of things. Always wanting to give a helping tip and or insight on what to look for, what to use, how to find the schools of fish and how to do so being a walk in wading guy. He enjoys showing, teaching and explaining these things that were taught to him to make someone's days that much better when they hook on to their first trout or see an impact in their catch rate. Trout fishing is a part of his life and he is pleased to be able to expound on in the community we are apart of. When he first found out about Pavlures, he fell in love with the color variations  the action of the lures and the accessibility to order them. He is honored to be a part of a team that looks out for one another and most of all the provide a product that sets themself apart from the rest of the guys out there. 

Brand Ambassador : Brodrick Gartica is a native of Matagorda who has a passion for wade fishing, primarily for trout. Grew up the grandson of a shrimper and loves everything about the coastal life. He primarily fishes East Matagorda and targets big trout in the winter. He practices conservation in efforts to help restore and keep the bay systems healthy.
